Can't get 300mb/s wireless on kernel 3.8? (intel)
I have a netgear dual band router. In quantal when I connect to the 5ghz network I easily get constant 300 mpbs link rate. In raring it tops out at 144 no matter what when connected to the 5ghz network, and doesn't seem to be using the 5ghz channel bonding. To rule out the router I booted up a quantal liveusb and it immediately connected at 300 mbps.
Does anyone else see this, should I report a bug for it, or is it some kind of intentional change by the kernel devs to workaround a bug or something? My card is intel 6235 centrino n
