KDE playing sound, but not music

Yesterday, I was able to listen to music on kde but then earlier today it started to act funny, and would no longer play music even when Amarok said it was playing. It plays the system sounds and all, but the audio players wont work. My computer's audio chip is a GF106 HD Audio Controller, however it also has the usual analog system as well. I'm no multimedia freak, so I have no idea what to do.

Solution: System settings > Multimedia > Phonon > Backend > Select VLC over GStreamer.
