    im not sure what im doing wrong...

    thanks for any help i have tried installing headers and kernels and im not getting anywhere..

    I suspect the driver package you downloaded is too old for your 3.5.0-xx kernel. r8187se is built-in. Is it not working as expected (he asked naively)?
