Ubuntu 11.10 Sopcast player 0.8.5

Have just installed Sopcast, how do I get a comprehensive channel guide? All I can see are channels in Romanian or Chinese, I've tried this http://thanhsiang.org/faqing/node/141
and Sopcast forum page isn't working.
