Missing operating system

I've been trying to install Ubuntu on my laptop, but after removing Windows 7 and re-installing Ubuntu, it won't boot unless I choose it as an EFI device when pressing F12 (boot menu).



I formated my drive as FAT32 using GParted, and chose "Replace Disk And Install Ubuntu".

Whenever I boot up my computer, it returns the "Missing operating system" error message.
