Openbox: how to change icon theme manually?

    Hi there everyone!

I've installed 12.10 minimally via net install and am using openbox. I installed lxappearance from the repos to alter my icon theme but due to this bug, none of the changes are sticking.

Can someone tell me how I might be able to change the icon theme, either through another gui or editing of a conf file? I have tried gnome-tweak-tool as well and although the proper icon theme shows in it's panel(Faenza-Dark), it's not respecting it.

    Thanks for your time!
