    Desktop setting for Ubuntu 10.04

After installing Ubuntu 12.04 on another computer, I find that I would prefer the Desktop setting for Ubuntu 10.04 as in tbe Screenshot attach herewith. The Desktop for Ubuntu 10.04 easier to use. After installing Ubuntu 12.04, is it possible to have or to configure to get a Desktop like the one as in Ubuntu 10.04. The Panel at the top of the Desktop on Ubuntu 10.04 is much more convenience to use.
    Can someone please advise.

It is posible to get a desktop similar to 10.04 release, installing gnome-panel as it is indicated in this excellent guide: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1966370

Or get the xfce desktop. It's very similar to the old gnome.
