Photo Lens for Unity errors & crashes

    Hi all,

    Keep getting this:

    Code:
The application Photo Lens for Unity has closed unexpectedly
It keeps asking me to relaunch or keep closed.

    How can I fix this?

    Thanks

Re: Photo Lens for Unity errors & crashes

Hi I have the exact same message (but in FRench since I'm French).

I installed Ubuntu 12.10 on a laptop HP envy14 that was running Win7 up to know. From the start I encounter that crash. I am not sure what Photo Lens for Unity is designed for. Should I simply scrap it ?

    Anyone on the topic ?

Not a solution but an effective workaround: get rid of the lens. I have removed all lenses except the applications and the files lens.
    Code:
    sudo apt-get remove unity-lens-photos
    will remove the photo lens.

    Thanks for that,

Hopefully that removes all these annoying errors.

    Thanks again
