    Steam won't connect when using hidemyass VPN Pro

    Hey guys,
    I recently purchased hidemyass VPN Pro because somehow someone found my skype name and with that they found my IP and DDoS'd me. I have since gotten a new IP, changed skype names and now use the VPN from hidemyass. I tried launching the steam app but it says I am not connected to the internet. I figured it was because of the VPN so I closed that connection and I was able to launch steam just fine.

    UPDATE: I just now realized that xChat won't connect when my VPN is active either. Hmmmmm


    Anyone know a way to have the VPN going and still connect to Steam using the Linux App? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
