Increasing disk size while running Ubuntu in a mem stick

    Hi All

I recently installed Ubuntu 12.10 on a 32Gb mem stick, but I was only able to allocate 4Gb to the permanent disk space. Now, this space seems insufficient to me. How could it be increased ?

    Thanks !

What limited the allocation to 4GB?

You would need to be running GParted from something other than the memory stick in order to do this. IF you check the GParted site, they do have ISO downloads, and you may be able to image one to another memory stick and boot from that.
Ubuntu 15.04 Mate, Mint 17.1; MS Win 8.1, Win10 TP.
