    Can't install 12.04.2 Server AMD64 from USB

    Hi,

I didn't tried this from a CD/DVD disk since my server lacks a optical drive.

I downloaded 12.04.2 server version (amd64) and make a bootable usb with Universal USB Installer and LiLi USB creator as well.

The failing stage is: "Load installer components from CD".

When I do a CD integrity check it fails with this package: "./pool/main/l/linux-signed-lts-quantal/linux-signed-image-3.5.0-23.35~precise1_amd64.deb" (md5 checksum failed).

Of course the .ISO MD5 is OK and a tried two USB sticks and 2 softwares to make de USB.

Beacuse a read "quantal" in a Precise release, I think that might be something wrong.

    Any body else?

    Any suggestion?

    Thanks!

I've downloaded the 12.04.1 version from old.releases and using the same usb stick and software, the installation works fine!

So, I'm pretty shure that 12.04.2 is a bad image.

I second the bad image for 12.04.2. I had the exact same problem with 12.0.4.2 but have been able to install from USB just fine with 12.0.4.1. Thank you.
