12.10 won't run.
I used to run 10.04 on a dual Xeon X5650 computer for Folding@Home.
I loaded 12.10-64 successfully (it was folding under Win7-64 Pro) but when I went to restart it, it said PANIC core error?
I tried twice, but it's not going to run.
A i5-3570K system did the same thing.
But I'm running it on 6 other systems just fine:
Dual AMD Opteron 4130
2x AMD Athlon X2
AMD Phenom II X6
2x AMD Quad Opteron 8380
Is this an Intel thingy?
I haven't been able to run Intel CPU's yet with 12.10. They fail right after install with PANIC errors.
PS - I love Ubuntu, and have donated towards it several times.
