Where is volume control in Xubuntu? [solved]

I recently installed Xubuntu 12.10 on my Asus netbook.

Where is the volume control on the panel?

I installed indicator-applet-complete that someone mentioned but I don't see any volume control after it was installed.

How do you add the volume control to the panel, why isn't it there to begin with?

I must have bumped it off. How do I get it back? It's not listed when trying to add to panel.

it does things other than volume, like network; i think it holds pidgin and gmusicbrower as well if you sent them to minimize to tray

Remove all Xfce4 settings. Logout, login and there you have it back.
