Connect to Wireless Systems

I have good news. I remembered I have an external wireless antenna for use in RV parks where I am some distance from an antenna. I didn't think of it because I have a good signal without it. I thought it had it's own driver, so I tried it, and lo and behold, I now have linux online for the first time in over a week. I will continue to work with your suggestions but it may be a while before I get back to you; I have quite a bit of catching up to do.

There is no excuse for DSL here. We are in the middle of downtown Aransas Pass, TX, and have cable TV service to the park.

If it now works, my recommendation is to leave well enough alone and no need for further tinkering.
