Hello all,

I'm relatively new to Ubuntu, and although I'm loving every minute of it, I get myself a bit mixed up at time. Please bear with me.

In my work environment, where I'm running Ubuntu 11.04, I want to be able to do the following:

Work on my main monitor for day to day stuff using a standard VGA cable

Send video to a 60inch plasma TV via HDMI

Send video to a small flat screen TV via DVI which mirrors that of the 2nd display above.

My graphics card is a Radeon HD 5450 and supports all 3 of the above outputs.

I've been driving myself mad trying to figure out a way of doing this for ease of use. I can set them up as the one big desktop all joined together easily enough, however, this isn't what I want to do. I need them to essentially be 2 completely independent desktops (with 2 and 3 mirrored). When I set up multiple single desktops in the ATI Catalyst Control Centre, I have my main desktop to work on, but can't do anything on the other desktops except move my mouse around on them.

Can any one point me int he right direction for this.

Sorry if I haven't been clear enough in my explanation, feel free to ask for clarification!

Thanks
