Can't disable hardware accel in Flash (Dialog unclickable)

Hi There,

Thread title says it, I'm unable to disable hardware acceleration in the flash dialog on account of me having zero ability to actually click the tickbox.

I have tried removing flash and utilized the "flash-aid" addon for firefox. No luck.

I do not want a workaround for specific sites via global settings, I'd rather solve the problem at it's root. I appreciate any help regarding troubleshooting this matter.

if you have chrome installed
you may try un installing pepper flash
then see if you can get updates for flash player
pepper flash turns off flash player

Have you tried disabling hardware acceleration after making the image full-screen? As I recall that's the only way to change that setting, though there is probably a configuration file hidden someplace you can change as well.

I use firefox nearly exclusively. I have chromium, it does not have pepper flash installed as far as I know.
