For Tennis Elbow 2013
Ubuntu 12.04 uses libtiff5 (libtiff.so.5)
./TennisElbow2013: error while loading shared libraries: libtiff.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
After installing libtiff4 it seems to be working for normal play.
Fiddling with the resolution results in a crash if I do this:
Windowed mode, on 1024×768
Change to Full screen mode, still on 1024×768
Change to 1280×1024, crash
If you start in full screen with 1280×1024 (from startup of the game) and then do the following:
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 150 (XFree86-VidModeExtension)
Minor opcode of failed request: 10 (XF86VidModeSwitchToMode)
Value in failed request: 0x2b2
Serial number of failed request: 342
Current serial number in output stream: 344
Change fullscreen to windowed,
Change windowed to fullscreen,
Change from higher resolution to lower,
Change from lower resolution to higher.
Then you should see artifacts on the "newly revealed" part of the screen. Then you will be forced to press escape button few times to close the program and then start it up again. It obviously works then as it is the change going from lower to higher resolution that seems to be doing this.
