Banshee and LastFM Scrobbling

Banshee is really helpful(Use it to sync iPod classic) but man I haven't been able to get any of the LastFM extensions to work except fingerprint.

Tried disabling all extensions, restarting etc. Tried running it n terminal like this..http_proxy=http://proxyurlroxyport banshee = banshee
Found the above on Ubuntu forums. Thank you!

I'm using Ubuntu 12.10 x64

Any help would be appreciated. Preferably not go to another media player.

Last.FM recently made changes that force people to use their web interface. The Rhythmbox Last.FM plugin doesn't work anymore, either.
