Question Looking for a new graphics card

I am currently running Ubuntu 12.10 and I am looking to replace my graphics card, an Nvidia GTX 580, with a less power consuming and quieter card. I would prefer an Nvidia card as I have had good experiences with these on Linux.

I have two 1920x1080 LCD monitors, so I require a graphics card with two DVI ports. I don't really play a lot of games anymore, so I don't mind a cheap graphics card (actually, I would strongly prefer a cheap one), as long as it is able to run both of my monitors smoothly. Does anyone have a recommendation for an Nvidia graphics card based on the above requirements?

I should probably mention that I have a Gigabyte X58A-UD3R motherboard, an Intel Core i7-950 CPU (somewhere around 3 GHz) and 12 GB DDR3 RAM. I would appreciate it very much if you could help me out.

    Thank you,
    cgtdk

A passively-cooled GT640 is what I would go with for this purpose: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814500274

If I wanted more gaming oomph, GTX 650Ti
