Bootable usb (DataTravler Elite 3.0 Kingston) work 3 times slower then live cd.Is this normal or this is beacuse my 7 years old laptop.Asking this beacuse USB is for my friend for first time see linux.He got new comp.I fear that giving up from linux.

Even if the datatraveler is able to go fast, if your laptop have a slower usb , then the speed is limited by the laptop, not by the stick (you probably only have an old usb1 connector, not a usb2 nor usb3)

I try in other(newest) PC and speed is ok.Thank you.(Now i see why copy from usb to my hd takes 16 min for 700 mb,but everitying else run just ok)
