Once the bring CS:GO over I will love it, don't really want to play the older ones (and only own the original CS + GO not CS:S).

They are adding lots of games, i follow the progress on GamingOnLinux.com just FYI

I own a couple of Valve games, but now that it looks like they are planning to bring the whole collection of Valve games over to Linux. I know exactly what my next buy is going to be: Valve Complete Pack

I downloaded this under my steam linux version, got to 100% was ready to play.. and then I booted the game it just blinks my display and never opens, ive tried -windowed, ove tried -l 1366 -h768, ive tried -dxlevel 8, ive tried -autoconfig. nothing is working witht the launch options.. any ideas??

Just tried with team fortress 2.. does the same thing.

I installed the Counter Strike Source in my Ubuntu 12.04 and i'm having a initialization problem where the screen are only black. Anyone can help me?

I wasn't able to max Counter-Strike: Source on my GTX 570 until I disabled multicore rendering. If you can't max it on fairly decent hardware, try turning off multicore rendering as well!
