Mount fuse filesystem entirely as unprivileged user

Is it possible to install fuse in my home directory & mount a fuse filesystem in my home directory entirely as an unprivileged user?

unprivileged users can mount, if given the privs.

Installation, I believe has to be done by root.

So I guess it's a matter of what are you seeking to do with fuse? What resource(s) are you intending to access?
