Hiya! Looking at a used Inspiron 1720 or Vostro 1700 as an option for a 17" laptop that can still be found for a decent price, and is still portable, and I'm wondering how Ubuntu handles on it.
Was considering the XPS M1730 for a while, but it might not be worth it both 'cause A) it's bulky as heck and expensive as heck, and B) dunno how well the lights on it would handle with *nix.
Which brings me down to the XPS M1330, Inspiron 1720, or Vostro 1700 for potential laptops.
