    Help with a zsnes problem

    So I have zsnes installed on my ubuntu 12.04 (64 bit) system but in order to start it I have to delete the file /.zsnes/zsnesl.cfg
    When I start it from the terminal I get this message:

    here is a copy of my zsnesl.cfg file as it is regenerated upon startup:

    ; Note, if you're worried you messed up a setting, removing the line will have

    Any thoughts on what I can change to avoid having to delete it every time?

    Re: Help with a zsnes problem

    Well after a bit of messing around I figured out a fix, the last option in the config file :

    ; Prevent ZSNES from Saving the Configuration on Exit (0 = NO, 1 = Yes)
    cfgdontsave=0

    I changed it to "1" and saved and it worked fine after that! I attached a copy of my config file as well if anyone with similar issues was curious, after the first time I didnt have to change that last option again so I left it back at "0". Also I wasnt allowed to upload a file with the extension .cfg so I slapped a .txt on the end of it, hope that doesnt mess it up.
