I purchased a Xbox 360 controller a few months ago to use on my PC but recently it started having issues charging. At first I had the issue where the LED indicator would show green(charged) when it was in fact empty. I worked around that issue by constantly unplugging and replugging the charging cord.

When I tried to charge my controller after a few months I came across a different issue. When I plug the cord in, the green LED appears for a second then there is no LED at all. The controller also does not charge at all. I have tried both the previous solution and the paperclip option to no avail.

Would this be caused by the battery pack or the cord and is there a fix?
