Post Ubuntu and Windows XP dual boot

I have windows xp professional and Ubuntu 12.10 on one desktop using a 360 GB hard drive. If i wanted to be running them both at the same time or one inside of the other how would i want to do that? I have lots experience with Virtual Box and vmware if that helps.

Then you should have no problem setting that up, it is basic VM usage.

Do a search for the hundreds of web pages already spelling this sort of thing out in detail.
