Failed to find memory space for buffer xffff880101872000 eviction.

    Hey guys,

Not really sure what's going on with my computer, but it seems that over night while I was sleeping, it has decided to crash itself. The last window that shows up is firefox, with lots of chunks of the top of the window missing. They are replaced by black rectangular blocks. When I hit CTRL+ALT+FXXX, I get the error you see in the title of this thread. Not sure what this means.

Does it mean that my computer has run itself out of memory? It has like 6 gigs worth. With only firefox and a few other things open, I suspect a massive memory leak. Any ideas? Don't know if I can replicate this. The computer is completely unusable right now. Going to have to hit the power button and reboot it.

Let me know if anyone has any ideas as to why this happened!

I would run memtest86 (from the boot menu) for a few hours to test your memory.
