Problem updating: error processing linux-image-generic

hey, what have you done there ?
- i'm seeing both i386 & amd64 repo
- grub installation is borked

so i'm afraid you need to clarify yourself what you want : 32 or 64 bits installation ?

please post here the output of : cat /etc/apt/sources.list

I could update now without any error. There was just a # missing on the top of /etc/default/grub file. I don't know how I had changed it.

so you have updated grub again ? (sudo update-grub)

thats good you can update again, you're sources are clean. (i was disturbed by the spotify i386 above)
