Pangolin Perf locks even if "Do Nothing" set

After an update my laptop which I keep on an external monitor with the lid closed for space saving reasons, now locks the screen when ever the monitor is on and the lid closed. Any ideas how I can fix this?

Well, another few updates and now the behaviour seems to have changed. I can close the lid which shuts off the screen but if I hit the escape key a few times, it comes back and everything is fine.

This is the normal behavior. When they say "Do nothing", they mean "Do nothing with regard to power management". You should be able to wake up the screen by jiggling the mouse or hitting a key on the keyboard.
