    Tried Ubuntu 13.04 64

I just tried running Ubuntu 13.04 off of a DVD. I immediately got an error message saying that there was an internal error. After I clicked ok, it seemed to run ok.

    Re: Tried Ubuntu 13.04 64

I find 13.04 very fast on an 8 GB. Sandisk Blade flash drive formatted to ext2 and installed normally. I'm seeing the weirdness with Firefox and Gnome Shell, though. FireFox works fine with Unity but will lock up under Gnome Shell. The mouse pointer moves but nothing else functions. Ctrl-Alt-F1 will get to a terminal but Ctrl-Alt-F7 brings back FireFox in its previous inoperative state. Chromium works as expected in Gnome Shell so it's something with FireFox and Gnome Shell. Starting a new profile doesn't help. Edit: It appears the latest update fixed the Firefox issue. Firefox with Gnome Shell seems to be functional again.

Was the error about the D-conf Package? If so, than it's already been reported by me and at least 2-3 other people, see my post as well as Cariboo907 replied there saying he had the Error as well. Just FYI.
