    Post Settings change itself

    I upgraded my ubuntu from 10.04 to 10.1, after that normal settings changed itself. Each time i reset it and work properly. Please help me to ever come this issue.

    You need to be more specific
    What settings are changing? File sharing, firewall, graphics?
    What are you changing?
    And how?

    It sounds like you are altering the current session but not saving the information to the correct configuration file.

    You just upgraded from 10.04 to 10.10? Did you realise that, contrary to 10.04, 10.10 is no longer supported? 10.04 will run out of support in three months, so upgrading was a good idea, but it would have been better to upgrade to 12.04.

    (If you did realise so and had a valid reason to upgrade to 10.10 I won't mind. Just to make sure.)
