aptitude va apt-get install Ubuntu Server 12.1?

I'm building a linux server right now and will be running the following commands. I am wondering if I should use apt-get install instead and what the difference is?

    aptitude update
    aptitude upgrade
    aptitude install apache2 php5 libapache2-mod-php5 php5-imap
    aptitude install mysql-server mysql-client php5-mysql
    aptitude install phpmyadmin

    Thanks in advance!?

apt-get is more common and you really just need to substitute it for aptitude here. Also depending on what you need that server for you might want to use 12.04 instead. LTS releases (like 12.04) are supported for much longer (5 years for server versions).
