தமிழ் தட்டச்சு விசைப்பலகை

நண்பர்களே,

நான் சமீபத்தில் தான் யுபுண்டு 11.10 பதிப்பை இரண்டாவது இயங்குதளமாக என் கணினியில் பதிந்தேன். எனக்கு தமிழ் தட்டச்சு தெரியும். யுபுண்டுவில் ஆங்கிலம் தவிர தமிழ் விசைப்பலகையும் சேர்த்துள்ளேன். ஆனால் அது முழுமையான தட்டச்சு விசைப்பலகையாக இல்லை. உதாரணத்திற்கு 'சு' இருக்க வேண்டிய 'r` பட்டனில் 'ஹ' இருக்கிறது. இது போல பல எழுத்துக்களும் பழைய தட்டச்சு பாணியில் இல்லாமல் மாறிமாறி உள்ளன, இதனால் என்னால் வேகமாக தட்டச்சு செய்ய முடியவில்லை. நானே என் விசைப்பலகை மேப்பிங் டேபிளை மாற்றிக் கொள்ளலாமா? அது எங்குள்ளது? அதற்கான வழிகாட்டி உள்ளதா?

யாரேனும் வழிகாட்டினால் மிக்க பயனுடையதாக இருக்கும்

good day to you

i am new to Ubuntu ...rather planning on shifting off windows to Ubuntu

i am eager to start using phonetic keyboards for Tamil , indian languages typing in Ubuntu . I am typing from the web and so this is in enNglish. I can read / write Tamil, and I have been using key an etc in windows

could you please share your experience so far ?

i need to / plan to input in Tamil in libre office , open office and in the web browser
