how to enable copy and paste in firefox 18

Apparently this isn't a new problem but its the first time I've run into it. Is there a particular way to enable copy and paste without an addon?

    thanks,

    Hello,

First, when you highlight something, can you not right click it, or can you and the paste/copy part is just grayed out?

Can you copy and paste things outside of Firefox? Try opening up LibreOffice or a text editor, make some text, copy and paste it. If it doesn't work, then it isn't Firefox that is the problem.

Do you have any other add-ons enabled? If so, what and is one of them Stumble Upon? Also make sure you have Java installed and enabled.

    Running version 18 here:

    Code:
    andrew@skamandros~$ firefox --version
    Mozilla Firefox 18.0.1
and no trouble with copying and pasting. Images, text etc all fine...

Perhaps this will deal with the problem:
