BTW, I use it and I'm not sure it runs particularly fast or slow.
It is just a normal web browser, each has their own strengths and weaknesses.
It depends on your preferences.
Sea Monkey comes with a builtin email program, address book, calendar and more. However, you can do that with separate programs too like a dedicated web browser, email (has address book) and a calendar organiser.
There are tons of other browsers, but the Mozilla ones (Firefox and Sea Monkey) are the more flexible with lots of addons.
You can try others like Opera, Chrome, Chromium, IceWeasel and more.

頑張って皆さん! (:
Is there a repo missing from L/Ubuntu? I wish to install Seamonkey straight from a repo but it's not there. Most other packes also seem to be older versions, Chromium and MythTV for example. There are even others which are entirely absent.
There are a great many applications that are not included in the repositories. If you want one that is not included you must download it yourself. vasa 1 (post #2) has given you a site on how to do this.

That makes quite a few in my view.
I prefer using a repo to keep an account of what's installed and what isn't and to of-course to easily remove unused apps..
