Wireless Network Won't Connect to Internet

I tried to install Ubuntu 12.10 via the live cd but I can't connect to the internet. I selected my network and put in the wireless key but the indicator icon keeps showing that the network is in the process of connecting. My wifi adapter is Atheros AR9287

open a terminal and type in the following command

dmesg

and paste back what it returns, if it's a ton of lines, then paste it either ubuntu pastebin or pastebin websites and then paste the link to it here.
