Ubuntu doesn't seem to remember when I change settings?

    Hi guys.

    I recently posted this: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=12452891

I still haven't figured out a fix, but I found out something new!
Ubuntu doesn't seem to save the changes I make to the operating system. It resets my shortcuts to defualt when I turn off my computer and turn it on the next day again. And then I also have the driver problem as listed in the other post I made.

Could I have messed something up somewhere?

I have to ask if this is your account or the guest account ? The guest account won't save settings.

Has this happened since installation day ? I would try setting up user account first because it makes you computer more secure and second to find out if the same thing happens in that account.
