    My security is already set to WPA2-AES with the CCMP thing, and I set IPv6 to "Ignore."

    The power management is now set to off, and I will be testing the signal to see if it's any better.

    I've been testing the signal, but it still isn't strong enough. Sometimes it can overcome all the interference, but usually it can't. The TV pretty much kills it.
    I'm using a wired connection right now, and I'll probably use the USB wifi adapter for something else.

    You can deactivate IPv6 in the NM-applet.
