Fglrx is messing with unity and it won't uninstall

Hey everyone, I've put in my amd graphics card (radeon hd6750) drivers from the amd website, and once I rebooted, unity is gone. I've been through google and no ones instructions help! I've done the "sudo apt-get remove --purge fglrx* fglrx_* fglrx_updates* etc.... And once I reboot, I still can't see unit. Anyway, I'd appreciate some help with ths, so thanks.

If you manually install drivers then they are not part of the APT system.

Go to the place you got the drivers and find the steps to manually uninstall them.
