    USB Audio Interface

    Hey guys!

Just wondering what interfaces you guys are using for Ubuntu Studio and Ardour that is problem free with Linux? I'm very new to Linux, so please forgive any noob-esque questions...

The interface needs to be USB sadly, it's for a dell inspiron one, only has usb2 and usb3 ports.

    Thanks!

    Re: USB Audio Interface

Most of Presonus recent usb sound cards are usb audio class compliants. But don't buy the one with integrated effects: it will not be possible to use them.

It is said that RME usb sound cards will soon be supported by Alsa, maybe in next release.
