ASUS VW202S undedect by nVidia GeForce 8600 GT

Hi all,

i have installed xubuntu 12.10 on my PC but the video card ( GeForce 8600 GT ) don't recognize my monitor.
i try the noveau driver but the max resolution is 640x480 i try nVidia drive proposed by GUI, the resolution still the same, i try the latest driver from www.nvidia.com, the resolution still the same.

Hardware:

Monitor: ASUS VW202S ( widescreen max resolution 1680x1050 )
Graphics Card: nvidia GeForce 8600 GT

OS: xubuntu 12.10
