    12.04 % GeForce GT650M - Nvidia driver doesn't work

    Hi all!!
I've changed the laptop, changed the graphic card producter but the problems are the same: I can't make proprietary drivers to work properly!
I've tried to install the 310.19 drivers following one of the many similar guides; nothing to do. Also, when I started the system, often it doesn't load the lightdm and it remained locked at "Checking battery state [OK]"

I have deleted all the drivers and now I don't know if I have the opensource drivers activated. The main problem is that when I click on the dash button, the mouse pointer slow down a lot and all the tabs work very very slow.

I ask then the help of the forum to solve (if possible) the problem. I noticed that on "Additional Drivers" I have 4 types of drivers; in fact, there are only 2 of these that are repeated:
    - NVIDIA binary Xorg driver, kernel module and VDPAU library
    - Experimental NVIDIA binary Xorg driver, kernel module and VDPAU library

Maybe I can install one of these without problems?

Today I tried to install again the 310.19 drivers on the new kernel 3.7. When I logged in, I received an error message which says that it's impossible to found an adapt resolution for my screen. Any idea?
