Command and Conquer Generals

Hey everybody,
I have problems to get C&C Generals to run on my Ubuntu machine.
Installed it with Play on Linux manually.
Splash screen appears but then it crashes.

Wine output is:

$~/PlayOnLinux's virtual drives/Command___Conquer_Generals/drive_c/Program Files/EA Games/Command and Conquer Generals$ wine generals.exe

I used different Wine versions:
wine 1.4.1
wine 1.4-rc5
wine 1.5.20

Same problem on all versions.
DirectX9 is installed

Maybe somebody can help.

Ati Radeon HD5570 1024MB
