Intel WiDi/Netgear Push2TV

I found a few older threads regarding this, but no final answers about support for WiDi. Does anyone know if this will work with Ubuntu - specifically with the Netgear Push2TV adapter?

The system requirements on the Intel site do say Windows7/8, but I wanted to ask in case there is a Linux workaround I don't know about.
