can't download portable linux apps?

I'd like to download a portable version of Transmission from http://portablelinuxapps.org/network/transmission

unfortunately the URL won't work. Clicking it ultimately leads me to sourceforge. Maybe the user took it down? Does anyone know any other options for me?

It led to sourceforge because it was source code: you would have had to compile everything yourself. Either way, the code is no longer there. It's likely been removed.

Thanks. my mother gave me the name.

Also bump. Still been trying to look for a portable linux torrent app that works. Opening Utorrent portable with wine doesn't work unfortunately when I try to continue the torrent on another computer.
