File Menu showing up in indicator panel. What's this mess?!

    I'm running Xubuntu 12.04.
    XFCE 4.10
    Banshee 2.6.0.

Who decided the file menu goes in the notificaiton panel?!
I thought this was banshee specific. But, kolourpaint is doing this, too.

How do I turn this back to the program menu being part of that program's UI and not the indicator panel?!

And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean, all you get is one trick: "rational thinking."
But, when you're good and crazy? Oooh! Oooh! Oooh! The sky is the limit!

    Solved.
    Somewhere, I'd installed indicator-application.
Uninstalling that gives me proper menus back.
