I have problem with my keyboard and mouse (both connected to USB) or rather USB itself. I'm working on new Dell Vostro 2520 with 3 USB ports (one on left and two on right side) and my OS is Ubuntu 12.10 x64. My mouse is standard wired Logitech and keyboard is no name but wired to.
Just after installation everything worked fine, but now I have annoying lags of both keyboard and mouse when they are connected to two USB ports on right side of my laptop. When I connect one of them to port on left side, this one is working fine. I don't know if it may be related, but it possible that this problem occured after I connected (to this working port on left) Microsoft LifeChat lx-3000 (it's headset for skype calls).
I have no idea how to diagnose and fix it. Any help would be appreciated.
