Ratel restarts after shutdown

All,
I recently purchased a Ratel Performance. I am having a problem trying to shut-down. The computer shuts down all the lights go off and about 5 seconds later it reboots. Then if I don’t login and select shut down from the menu, it shuts down OK. I installed the latest 78 drivers and all the patches for the system and that did not solve the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am still having the same problem I reported in January. I just did a clean install and I still have the same problem. If I do a restart after I login then the system will shut down correctly if not I shut down and after about 5 seconts the system will restart by its self. Then a shutdown works correctly. I did a clean instal to version 13.04

Have you checked your Bios? This could be a setting there is not correct.

The Bios is as it was sent from 76.

A restart always sols the problem.

What should I look for?

Check the boot tab for the "Wake on LAN" setting. Make sure it's disabled.

I have been experiencing this with my Galago Ultra Pro, too. Haven't checked BIOS yet. Just wondering if this is known to happen on that model as well?

This issue on the Galago is a known problem, and can be worked around by always unplugging before you shutdown. The Ratel issue is separate.

We're working on a BIOS update to correct the problem on the Galago.
