    Can't login ubuntu 12.10

    Hello, I just downloaded and installed ubuntu 12.10, and everything was going OK until I installed all the updates (about 230). After all the updates were done, ubuntu asked me to reboot and I did so. When it started again, it showed the login screen (I had autologin enabled) and, I couldn't login. Everytime i tried to, it would take me back to the login screen. I've searched a lot about this,but nothing seems to fix my problem. Also I read that most people with this problem could login with their guest user, but I can't. I can't login with any user. BTW, all tty work. Any ideas?
