Empathy: Connection is untrusted. Would you like ot continue anyway?

Opening Empathy, I got a dialogue "This connection is untrusted. Would you like to continue anyway?"

A quick check of "Certificate Details" from within the dialogue revealed the issue to be related to register.jabber.org, issued by StartCom Ltd. At this stage, I haven't verified fingerprint or key because I have a question, an idea, and figured I'd post here before I proceed.

I'm wondering if (and I don't know if this should go here or in some sort of 'Suggestion Box') newer users wouldn't be better served with an additional feature that enables the user a means of verifying key and fingerprint without leaving the dialogue box.

My thinking is, obviously, geared toward newer users like myself who would like to be mindful and more security-minded - who may not have the benefit of experience to verify keys and fingerprints with great confidence.

Perhaps, in addition, there might also be a link to some sort of "Help" that explains why a user should proceed with caution.

    What are your thoughts?
